Well with Thanksgiving just in two days I thought I'd start a “what I'm thankful for” list for Thanksgiving. Anne- and Tudor-related, I'd say (not in any order)…
1. Eric Ives' Anne book
2. Anne herself!!!
3. My hard-core Anne doll 😀
4. Robin Maxwell's Anne novels-great writing, great and sympathetic portrayal of Anne
5. The wonderful places I've been related to Anne in England
6. And, of course, Claire's ABSOLUTELY DROP DEAD FANASTIC Anne Boleyn Files!!!!
*I'm sure I'll think of more but I can't right now 🙂

I'm thankful for –
1. Anne; an amazing woman who continues to inspire me all the time
2. Henry; for seeing in Anne what we all do! And for his endlessly fascinating taste in wives, full stop!!!!!!
3. All the books written about Anne, even the crummy ones, they make my bookshelves look very intelligent
4. All the movies/TV shows about the Tudors, even when they get it wrong!
5. Through Anne (and the rest of the Tudors) gaining a real love and passion about history in general
6. Having the chance to converse with all the seriously cool members of this site
So happy Thanksgiving (for tomorrow, is it?) to everyone in the States! And everybody else too!!!!!!

1. I am grateful for all the authors who bring history to life. Whether it's fiction or non-fiction, we get to piece together the past and see how these people lived and loved.
2. Claire for bringing us all together and for her excellent articles. This is a place where we can rationally discuss the life of Anne and the rest of the Tudors.
3. For everyone on this site. We laugh, we commiserate, and we have a great time learning and sharing.
4. For Anne who lived 500 years ago. She inspires us.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I agree with everyone. Also for me:
1. (like some of you said) Historians and authors who write about history and especially the Tudor period. I admire all of them so much!
2. Genevieve Bujold's portrayal of Anne
3. Cate Blanchett's portrayal of Elizabeth
4. The beauty of rereading [and rereading and reading and reading] books about the Tudors, and how it never loses interest for me
5. Of course, everyone here! I'm soo glad I found this site and forum, because before that there weren't a ton of places I could talk to death about Anne w/o seeming boring and obsessive! So thank you, everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving!
