After intially posting I would probably not do much around the Titanic commemmoration, I have to eat my words. I was offered a temporary reseach job with a local company in PEI who is producing a Titanic dinner theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Needless to say, in the last few weeks, I’ve learned a lot about the people aboard the ship, their lives, and their fates. I find myself mover by stories of heroism and survival, but also by those who gave their own lives to help others.
The dinner theatre will explore the class conflicts on the night of 14th of April. The actors will portray real people who were on board that night. The food is a selection from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class menus on that night.

That sounds cool. How many weeks/days does it last for??

It's always bunnies.

Anyanka,
The people in that clip seemed to be living life to the fullest. I hope they were. Such a tragedy awaits them. Thanks for the postings. I’m really enjoying them.

I missed a programme on either Discovery or TLC last night about the use of the fledgling science of forensics to identify the bodies brought in to Nova Scotia. Shame as it sounds intereasting….

Anyone hear about the rerelease of Titanic in 3D? If not, it comes out this wednesday (or it does in the U.S.) and i’m actually gonna go see it the 7th. I love this movie so much and i read about the history of it all the time cause it’s so tragic and sad what happend.
And there’s also going to be a Titanic history feature on the History channel (date unknown) and it’s coming soon. It’s called “Titanic: Mystery solved’..

Mya Elise, You will doubtless also be watching the new, and very expensive, British television drama, “Titanic”, when it airs in the US on April 14th. It comes in four parts, two of which have already been shown here in the UK. I will say nothing in the way of spoilers but I don’t think that you will be dissapointed by giving it a view. For a television drama it is certainly on an epic scale, almost worthy of a cinema film.

A new show? Oh wow.
I made an error on my last post, it’s called ‘Titanic at 100: Mystery solved’. And then I hear that James Cameron (creator of the movie Titanic) is making a new documentary about the Titanic and it’s supposed to be really in depth and intense.

Mya Elise, “Titanic 100: mystery solved” is being advertised to be shown on the History Channel on Sunday, April 15th in the UK. Given the date I would presume the US airing will also take place on the same day.

I just saw Titanic in 3D a few hours ago, I’ve seen this movie maybe 10 million times and I cried over 5 or 6 times – i’ve never cried that much during any movie especially one i’ve seen so many times. It was amazing in 3D, especially at the end when the boat is sinking – my heart started racing because I felt like I was there – no kidding.
Awsome Day!Laugh
