Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire, is planning a series of events next year to mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of Katherine Parr. This will include a re-enactment of her funeral, a talk by David Starkey, and an exhibition which, the castle hopes, will contain documents from the British Library and the famous portrait of Katherine in the NPG. As yet there are few details on the event. I'm thrilled by the news as I don’t live that far from the lovely castle.

That sounds amazing. I only wish I lived in the UK so I could participate. Oh well, maybe someday. If you go Nasim, could you provide us with some details. That way, I can live vicariously through you!
The next time I visit the UK, Sudeley Castle in a top my list of places to visit.
