I was wondering if there is any evidence of Elizabeth reading More’s Utopia. As she was well read, I would assume she probably did. I am looking into the idea that this book may have influenced some of Elizabeth’s views on religious tolerance. She was more tolerant of the religious differences of her people than her sister, Mary.
I am unable to find any concrete evidence of Utopia being on Elizabeth’s reading list.
