I am so very confused with all the information I was able to find about her.

There are two totally different articles, on wikipedia it states that she married Thomas Worth and was the daughter of either John or Thomas Bulmer, while on Tudors wiki it says that she married firstly William Bulmer and then Edward Waldergrave and was the daughter of George Acworth and Margaret Wilbourforce. Can someone please help me regarding this? Which information is right???

From what I can tell, the Wikipedia article is useless.  The references it gives link back to another webpage that say absolutely nothing about Joan Bulmer's personal background–only that she and Katherine met while living in the Dowager Duchess's household and together had liaisons with Francis Derehem and Edward Waldegrave.  If you search for “Joan Acworth” (her maiden name) you'll find several geneaology sites where families have traced themselves back to her and Edward (she and William did not have any children).  Not only that, but it seems that her marriage to William Bulmer has been documented by the Tudor Court at the time of her interrogations.

OK….strangeness…

I'm reading The Other Tudors:  Henry VIII's Mistresses and Bastards by Philippa Jones currently and in the course of my reading I came across this passage:

“When the young Duke travelled, he was attended like a prince.  Richmond had his own household officers at Sheriff Hutton; these included Brian Higdon, Dean of York, as his chancellor; Sir William Bulmer as Steward of the Household….”  etc.

This was in August of 1525 and the Duke that the author is referring to is the young Duke of Richmond.  In case you're not keeping score, that would be none other than Henry Fitzroy, Hank VIII's own illegitimate son by Bessie Blount.  If we assume that Joan Bulmer was a contemporary of Catherine Howard and was born roughly in the early 1520's, then William Bulmer would have been quite a bit older than her.  This would probably explain a couple of things:  1)  Her unhappiness in the marriage, and 2) The lack of children from the marriage.  He probably ran in the same social circles as the Dowager Duchess.
