I’ve just had an email from Sudeley Castle about the events they have planned for Halloween, here is what they say:-
“Halloween is creeping up fast and Sudeley Castle is going to be full of spooky festivities on Sunday 31st October.
There will be a host of events to keep children of all ages entertained, plus delicious Halloween themed treats in the coffee shop.
The Castle will be getting dressed up making for a hair-raising setting, with a spooky deaths and ghosts’ showcase of Henry VIII and his six wives. For the adventurous there will be a Halloween trail around the Castle grounds with a prize for those who manage to find all the right answers. The most exciting event of the day is a witches and wizards fancy dress competition with the winners each receiving a 2011 family season ticket to Sudeley, plus two runners up get a 2011 family day pass. The competition will be judged by Lady Ashcombe and the prizewinners’ photographs will appear on the Sudeley Castle website.
The fun will be starting at 11am and ending at 3.30pm, there will be no additional charge for the day just the standard admission rate.
We look forward to welcoming you for some chilling excitement.”
