His adventures are based on real-life Tudor events and the series is a great way to introduce children to Tudor history.

William is a street orphan living near Hampton Court Palace. He’s poor but has big dreams. Every day is the same for William, until his luck changes.
Will a life working for the king be better for William? What adventures will he encounter?

Meanwhile, historian Amy Licence has been working on a non-fiction series, the “All About” series, aimed at Key Stage 2 children (2nd-5th grade, ages 7-11) about the kings and queens from Richard III up to Elizabeth I. All About Richard III is out now and is available as a kindle book and in paperback, and is a wonderful start to the series.
Here’s the blurb and details:
MadeGlobal’s “All About” series is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to know more about the key characters of history. The books are colourfully illustrated throughout, have a simple narrative to explain the key points in the character’s life and more detailed sections for the more-able reader or teacher.
Richard III was a king of England who lived over 500 years ago. He died in battle, and for centuries people thought his bones had been lost. Then, in 2013, he was found buried under a car park in Leicester. The whole world wanted to know about him.
Why are so many people interested in his story? Why do some think he was a good king, while others think he was not? What are the mysteries of his life and reign?
Read the facts about Richard III in this book and make up your own mind.
